This regular postage stamp represents a core mid-value denomination within the historic 1964 inaugural definitive collection issued for the Emirate of Fujeira (الفجيرة). Adhering to the series' traditional horizontal duo-panel layout, the right-hand panel features a detailed engraving of an esteemed cultural icon: the Lanner Falcon (Falco biarmicus). Highly revered in traditional Bedouin falconry for its sharp hunting instincts and tactical precision, one falcon is depicted perched regally in profile while another is shown in mid-flight against a soft, yellow-and-violet desert sky.

The left-hand panel preserves the signature intricate gold-flowing arabesque frame enclosing the formal portrait of the ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi (who governed Fujeira from 1942 until 1974), wearing traditional attire alongside his ceremonial khanjar. Natively anchored by the bilingual country and value inscriptions ("30 NP" / "٣٠ ب"), this issue was widely utilized by the civil administration to process standard international surface mail and regional registered rates.
